Jan 21 field trip

You should have seen the permission slip for our next field trip to the Beaufort county courthouse with lunch at the Pirates Grill.  The cost is $5 for lunch.  We will be leaving the school at 9 a.m. and return around 1 p.m.  Drivers are needed, if you are available to drive please complete the bottom portion of the permission form. 

Auction Basket

Our class will be collecting $5 per student for the class basket.  Our basket is called Family movie night and will include items such as classic movies, current block buster movies, popcorn, etc.  Please send your $5 in by February 11 so that Pam can get the basket put together for the auction February 19th.  Tickets are now on sale in the office, the cost is $20 per person and $35 per couple.  The price at the door will be $25 per person with no couple discount.  If you can not attend and would like to bid on an item or items absent bidding forms will be available the week prior to the auction. 

Cooler and ice needed

We have been asked to provide coolers and ice for the 10 year celebration.  If you are able to help out with this request please let us know by commenting on this post.  We need the coolers at the school by Thursday afternoon.  Please remember to mark your cooler(s) with your name. 

Book Fair Volunteers needed

If you would like to volunteer to help with book fair please contact Angela Antrican at knox69@embaqmail.com.  Book fair set up is November 19 and book fair will run from November 22 until December 3 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

10 year celebration

We have been asked to provide coolers and ice for the 10 year celebration on Saturday November 13.  If you have a cooler or are willing to provide ice please comment on this post by clicking on the word comment.  We need the coolers at the school by Friday afternoon.  Please make sure all coolers are marked with your name. 

Auction Project

The students have been working on the tiles for the frames for the mirrors that will be auctioned on February 20th for the PTO.  They have chosen two themes, sports and abstract art.  The tiles are almost complete.  Once they have finished painting them, we will seal them, then we will complete the frames for the mirrors.  Check back soon for more pictures of the progress.

Pizza and Ice Cream

We will be having pizza and ice cream on Friday December18th.  The last day before Christmas break.  We are asking that each student bring in $3 to help with the cost.

If you would like to send a snack to share please feel free to participate.

We are also starting to work on the mirror for the auction.  We ask that each student bring in $4 for materials.
