Stockings for the Troops

Each year WMPCS chooses a charity to donate to at Christmas.  We do this on a three year cycle.  We pick a charity that is local, national, or global.  This year is National and we have choosen Stockings for the Troops.

The list of suggested items is to the right.  Please have all items to the classroom by November 20th.

November Activites

We have a busy month.  We are working on baby blankets for the women who give birth in the coming year to take home with them from the hospital.  If you have any sewing skills, please let me or the teachers know.

We are collecting items for the Stockings for Troops.  We need all donations by November 20.  We would like to complete 12 stocking from our class.

We will start working on our mirror frames for the auction.  I will be asking for help in purchasing materials for this project.

As this month has many holidays, we will not have a red plate day.  I am sure that Ms. Bosso and Ms. Donadio would appreciate any volunteer help in the classroom this month with all the special projects.
